Now Accepting Insurance
Many California insurance plans include acupuncture treatment: Ask your insurer about coverage or reimbursement. If your plan offers acupuncture, we will file a claim and you will pay the co-payment only, once your deductible has been met. Your co-pay will be the difference between the claims payment and the cash fee (above).

Insurance companies that offer acupuncture on certain plans include: Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Pacificare, Writers Guild, Directors Guild of America (DGA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), Motion Picture Editors Guild, and UniCare, among others. Rates and services covered by insurance vary per insurance carrier and policy.

Because California acupuncturists are considered primary care physicians, you do NOT need a referral from your MD in order to start treatments.
